Special Enrollment Period Now Available for Medicare


At any time during the year you will be able to switch to a 5-star Medicare Advantage Plan after the new process starts on December 8th, 2011. The title really says it all as there is no mystery behind what makes their 5-star Medicare Advantage Plan. • You can go to www.medicare.gov/find-a-plan for the overall plan star ratings.

• Only if it is available in your area can you join a 5-star Medicare Advantage Plan.

• Once a year is the limit to the special enrollment period for changing to a 5-star plan.

• A Medicare Cost Plan cannot be joined during this period.
